Betsson Group has announced the launch of its very first Diversity and Inclusion Conference with the theme ‘Together We Drive Change.’
The free-to-attend conference, held at Corinthia Hotel, St George Bay on 17th June, will connect experts from inside and outside the iGaming industry to discuss how it can create a more diverse and inclusive workplace – where all employees can thrive.
The company’s chief HR officer, Lena Nordin, commented on the launch, explaining that Betsson Group is committed to support and sustain an environment where all employees are welcomed, respected, appreciated, and able to be themselves – without biases based on differences of any kind.
“With 60 different nationalities and 40 per cent women we are cultivating a creative environment where we challenge each other and see things from different perspectives,” she added.
“This in turn leads to innovative solutions and helps us accomplishing our mission of providing the best customer experience in the industry.”
Betsson’s approach to diversity and inclusion centres on the belief that through maintaining a diverse workforce and ensuring everyone feels included, it will be employing the best talent and leveraging varied and unique skills and perspectives, she expanded.
The embedding of diversity and inclusion values into Betsson’s business strategy is also “critical” for it to drive strong business results in global markets.
“We are all individuals, we are all different, but there is more that unites us than divides us and by embracing our differences, together we will drive change!”
