Bragg Gaming Group has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Morten Tonnesen as chief operating officer and the promotion of Garrick Morris to executive vice president of global content for the US and Canada.
The company said the leadership changes support its strategy to scale its higher-margin content business globally, with particular emphasis on North American markets. Bragg’s global content segment reported 76 per cent year-on-year growth in the fourth quarter of 2025, supported, it said, in part by the company’s expanding AI initiatives.
The appointments are intended to “improve operational leverage, streamline internal processes, and enhance efficiency” across the organisation.
Mr Tonnesen joins Bragg after serving as chief growth officer at marketing software provider Xtremepush until September 2025.
Before that, he was chief commercial officer at Shape Games for nearly three years. Earlier in his career, Tonnesen co-founded BetWarrior and served as its CEO prior to exiting the business. He also spent six years at PokerStars, where he was director of group marketing from 2014 to 2017.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Tonnesen pointed to Bragg’s growing focus on AI-driven operations.
“It has been captivating to watch the scale, scope and speed with which Bragg is building the Bragg AI Brain and transforming itself into an AI-first company,” he said.
Mr Tonnesen added that his immediate priorities will include managing regulatory complexity and tax headwinds in markets such as the Netherlands, while supporting expansion opportunities in the US and other emerging regions.
Bragg has also promoted Garrick Morris from senior vice president commercial for the US and Canada to EVP of global content for the same markets.
Mr Morris joined the company in 2024 and has played a role in expanding Bragg’s US content footprint through the launch of new titles, its Remote Gaming Server technology, and Player Account Management platform.
Before joining Bragg, Mr Morris held several senior roles across the iGaming sector, including COO of Digital Gaming Corporation, operations manager at Microgaming, and IT platforms manager at Derivco.
Looking ahead, he said the company will continue to focus on growth in North America, including expansion into historical and live horse racing and prediction markets.
Bragg CEO Matevž Mazij said the leadership changes will support the company’s ambition to position itself as a global B2B provider of content, engagement and infrastructure, with a strong focus on AI-driven operations.
