Game Lounge has announced that its Director of Legal, Maria De Martino, has been shortlisted for Best Newcomer of the Year at the upcoming Malta iGaming Affiliate Awards 2025, a recognition that highlights individuals driving meaningful progress within the affiliate marketing ecosystem.
In a statement, the company said: “Since joining Game Lounge, Maria has made an outstanding impact, strengthening our legal frameworks, championing regulatory excellence, and helping us navigate a rapidly evolving compliance landscape with clarity and confidence.”
Although nominated in a “newcomer” category, Dr De Martino is far from new to the organisation. She has been part of Game Lounge for seven years, progressing into the role of Director of Legal and becoming a key figure in its compliance and regulatory strategy.
The Malta iGaming Affiliate Awards 2025 were created to celebrate the people, products, and innovations shaping the affiliate sector. Unlike traditional affiliate awards, this event includes fresh, distinct categories designed to widen recognition across the industry.
One such category is the Affiliate Membership Achievement Award, which highlights affiliates implementing progressive and innovative strategies to recruit and retain members. The awards are intended not only to honour achievement, but to inspire continued improvement across all facets of affiliate marketing in iGaming.
