Huddle Gaming

iGaming technology provider Huddle has hired Josipa Marenić and Mário Silva as its new head of people and culture, and senior product manager respectively, it announced on Friday.

Both appointees were welcomed by Francesco Borgosano, Huddle’s CEO and Co-founder, who said: “I’m delighted to welcome Josipa and Mário to Huddle. They have both immediately tapped into our forward-thinking culture, and their experience in the industry will be highly valued in our growing team.

“The qualities that Huddle offers and the culture we are creating is attracting some amazing industry talent, and with this currently at a premium, these recent appointments set Huddle apart as one of the most attractive propositions in the betting and gaming sector. I’m really looking forward to working with Josipa and Mário, and our many new hires.”

Ms Marenić, who has held positions at the likes of Croatia-based software providers Lemax and Deegloo, brings with her years of experience in people management. Mr Silva, on the other hand, has more than seven years of industry experience, having most recently held senior roles at OpenBet.

Ms Marenić will use her in-depth understanding of human resources to further enhance Huddle’s positive culture of team-based development, where Mr Silva’s extensive knowledge of product development will see him add further potency to Huddle’s portfolio of next-gen gaming solutions.

The two join the increasing number of recent new hires by the company, including VP compliance Zeljka Perkovic, senior software engineer Piotr Droździel, and quantitative analyst Klavs Riekstins.

Huddle represents one of the most forward-thinking and progressive suppliers in the rapidly changing industry, building advanced, proprietary data-driven technology solutions designed to transform the user experience and unlock the true potential of iGaming operators.

Launched in late 2020, raising $3 million in venture capital seed funding, the business employs a micro services model – developing and deploying all the components of a fully automated betting platform – including trading, odds feeds and risk technology – in a sequenced way.

Huddle’s software is powered by AI and machine learning tools to analyse behavioural data, helping operators increase efficiencies across multiple jurisdictions, manage and optimise risk and shape the sportsbook stars of the future.

Ms Marenić, celebrated her appointment, saying: “I’m thrilled to be joining Huddle at such an exciting period of growth for the company. All my new colleagues are experts in their fields and that is testament to the positive culture being fostered here. I can’t wait to get started!”

Likewise, Mr Silva, said: “Although just over a year old, Huddle is already making a serious difference in the betting and gambling industry and that resonates with me. The company’s focus on excellence and forward-thinking ideas is what makes it one of the most attractive for the industry’s best and brightest – it’s a fantastic place to be.”
