HungryBear Gaming, pioneers of the world’s first multi-player slot tournament, have agreed a brand-wide deal with Entain to launch free-to-play sensation SlotMasters.

SlotMasters is an industry first, three-way, head-to-head slot game, where players get to affect the outcome of their opponents score by strategically deploying a selection of attack and defensive weapons.

"Following a seamless direct integration, the next generation multi-player game, that has created an entirely new category of fun and skill for the casino sector, has initially launched on Entain brand Foxy Bingo. Initial data shows that a large volume of players return to the game every day, a steep rise in session times and an increase in player days, providing Foxy with a unique means of acquisition and retention," HungryBear Gaming said in an announcement.

In the 12 weeks since launch tournaments "have risen significantly in popularity with more than 500,000 games played and 32 million spins, and SlotMasters becoming a staple part of operators’ offerings".

Phase two of the launch will see HungryBear develop tailored versions of the game with unique branding and symbols for several other Entain brands including Ladbrokes.

SlotMasters is already live with several Gamesys brands including Virgin, Rainbow Riches, Monopoly Casino, Jackpot Joy, Double Bubble, and Megaways casino, and soon to be live with Greece’s leading gaming brand OPAP that has built a dedicated tournament section and tab within its main site devoted to SlotMasters.

Justin Chamberlin, founder and CEO of HungryBear, said: “SlotMasters has been a passion project for some time and to see it go live with Entain and some of the industry’s biggest global brands is a dream come true for the team and I who have worked so hard to get to this stage.

“Since launch we’ve been running multiple daily tournaments and players are coming back every day in their droves to play SlotMasters, the most exciting and innovative gaming entertainment concept out there.

“We are pioneering a completely new category and major brands are now seeing the benefits of a completely original, fun, interactive game that attracts large volumes of players and keeps them coming back multiple times a day, every day, increasing session times and brand loyalty and, above all, proving them with a unique experience they can’t play anywhere else.”

Craig Perry, head of gaming commercial and product at Entain, said:“Ever since we first saw a demo of SlotMasters we knew it would add a new and unique dimension to our offering, providing our players, with an instantly accessible and highly entertaining product that is proving to be a huge hit with our customers. We’re very much looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.”
