James Ford has stepped down as Senior Director of Gaming at LeoVegas Group after almost a decade with the company.
Announcing his departure on LinkedIn, Mr Ford said that during his time at the company he “had the opportunity to work across almost every corner of gaming” and helped build LeoJackpot into what he described as “the world’s largest online jackpot.”
He also thanked all those who worked with him at LeoVegas, including those who brought him into the company.
“After 19 continuous years in gaming, I’m ready for a proper break; to switch off, spend more time with my family and reflect before seeing what comes next in 2027,” Mr Ford wrote.
Mr Ford added that “leaving such a significant chapter is emotional”, but said he did so with “enormous gratitude” for the opportunities, challenges, lessons, laughs and, above all, the people who made the journey special.
Mr Ford joined LeoVegas Group more than nine years ago and held a number of senior positions, including Head of Casino, Group Casino Director and Director of Gaming. For the past year, he served as Senior Director of Gaming.
Prior to joining LeoVegas Group, Mr Ford worked at Microgaming for more than eight years.
