MGA suspends Condor Malta Limited’s gaming licence

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has suspended the gaming authorisation of Condor Malta Limited, a Malta-based online gambling operator.

In an official statement, the MGA said that Condor is no longer authorised to carry out any gaming operations. However, the company is required to retain and provide registered players with access to their player accounts for visibility purposes.

The MGA said the suspension was made under Regulation 8(1)(f) of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations, citing Regulation 9(1)(a), (c), (d) and (m) as the grounds for the action.

Under the regulations, the cited grounds include circumstances where a company is considered not fit and proper to hold a gaming authorisation, where it has failed to comply with one or more applicable regulatory requirements, where it has failed to discharge financial commitments relating to its operations, and where there are other grounds warranting regulatory action.

The MGA's statement does not provide further details on the specific circumstances that led to the suspension.

Malta-based Condor Malta Limited is an online gambling operator offering casino gaming and sports betting through a portfolio of consumer-facing brands, including 24Bettle, b-Bets, Big5Casino, Casino Sieger and LuckyBull.

The company operates a number of online gaming brands and has a presence in several European markets.

It also has offices in Croatia, Bulgaria and Serbia.
