An Irish transaction messaging software platform, Onionsack, has signed a deal with iGaming powerhouse Betsson to integrate their betting technology into their RaceBets platform in Germany.
The next step will be to roll out Onionsack’s technology to Betsson’s brand in Kenya.
Onionsack’s technology allows a betting platform to understand and process bets written or spoken in natural language. Onionsack allows customers to bet by sending a text message using their preferred channel, providing the fastest way for customers to place a bet.
RaceBets holds licenses in Ireland, Malta and Germany.
CEO of Onionsack Jonathan Power announced that the company’s “peerless natural-language processing technology is a perfect partner for RaceBets’ world-class horse racing product, which is already powering engagement across Betsson’s core brands.”
Managing Director of RaceBets Alexander Haig commented that “Onionsack’s unique tools connect with all types of bettor, from the seasoned expert to the comparative novice, and aid RaceBets’s endeavours to increase the mediums and channels through which our customers can choose to bet.”
Onionsack was founded in Ireland and has offices in UK and USA.
As previously reported by iGamingCapital.mt, Betsson has recently made Greece the home of their flagship brand.
Onionsack’s platform powers leading brands such as Paddy Power Betfair, William Hill, BWIN and has recently signed a new three year deal with PMU France.
