SBC has announced that its CasinoBeats Summit 2022 conference and exhibition will take place on 24th to 26th May at the InterContinental in St Julian’s, Malta.

The specialist online casino industry event will form part of Malta’s wider Spring iGaming Week (SIW2022), which also includes the KPMG Malta Gaming eSummit and the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards.

Delivered jointly by SBC Events, KPMG Malta and GamingMalta, the week features a packed programme of high-level business and networking events dedicated to both the world-class online casino sector on the island and the wider global industry.

SIW2022 had originally been scheduled for earlier in the year, but following discussions with key sponsors and partners, it has been rescheduled to late May to accommodate the calendars of major iGaming operators, affiliates, platform providers and games studios.

The week’s opening opportunity for iGaming industry executives to come together to learn and share their experiences will be the KPMG Malta Gaming eSummit at the Westin Dragonara in St Julian’s on 24th May.

CasinoBeats Summit will build on that over the following two days, when it stages a high-level conference with some of the online casino industry’s most-influential executives among the speaker line-up.

The experts will share their insights and ideas on the sector’s emerging opportunities, how to utilise new technology and the next big trends in game design. They will also address the key commercial, operational and regulatory issues faced by operators, affiliates, games studios, platform providers, and content aggregators.

Outside the conference rooms, the audience of senior executives and decision makers will have the opportunity to take a first look at the latest technology, products and content for the slots, live casino and poker verticals. The exhibition is set to feature both globally-renowned suppliers and the rising stars of the game development world.

Running over all three evenings will be a programme of networking events in stylish venues, which provide ideal settings for informal conversations with business contacts.

The final element of SIW2022 is the second edition of the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards, which will see the industry’s most creative and innovative teams honoured during a lavish ceremony at the InterContinental on 26 May. Winners at the 2021 awards included Relax Gaming, SG Digital, Red Tiger, AvatarUX, Evoplay and Push Gaming.

The Game Developer Awards feature 14 categories. Nominations for the six honours in the Game Creation section are now open, while the shortlists in the Game Performance and Game Marketing sections will be drawn up by a panel of expert judges.
