Tequity has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Alex Scott as Chief Product Officer.
Mr Scott brings more than two decades of experience in the online gaming industry to the role. He previously served as Managing Director of Poker at Microgaming and later became President of WPT Global, where he helped guide the platform’s growth into what the company describes as the world’s second-largest online poker room.
As Chief Product Officer, Mr Scott will oversee Tequity’s product strategy and manage the full product lifecycle, from concept development through to market launch.
The appointment comes during a period of expansion for the supplier. Tequity recently launched Tequity Exclusives, a new division focused on custom-built games, adding to its existing RGS, Originals and Publishing business units.
The company has also secured certification from BMM Testlabs for its random number generator (RNG) and the first batch of titles developed under its Tequity Originals brand, marking another step in its plans to expand into regulated markets.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Scott said Tequity is “pushing the boundaries of what is possible in iGaming” through technology that streamlines and enhances game development.
“It is an incredibly exciting time to join the team,” he said. “I look forward to leading the product vision across our expanding divisions to deliver next-generation casino content to operators worldwide.”
Tequity CEO Krzysztof Opałka welcomed the appointment, saying “we are thrilled to welcome Alex to the team as we continue to move the business forward at pace,” Mr Opałka said.
“His two decades of industry leadership and pioneering, hands-on experience with AI-driven casino games make him the perfect fit to lead our product strategy.
