A lucky Videoslots player has made a huge splash after landing a giant jackpot on an ancient underwater-themed game.

The female casino customer helped herself to SEK 40,169,314 after reeling in the big prize on Microgaming’s popular title Ancient Fortunes Poseidon WOWPOT.

Her prize – which works to around €3,942,899 or £3,367,153 – is one of the largest ever won at Malta-based Videoslots, which prides itself in having the largest slots catalogue in the industry.

It also marks a hat-trick of recent big wins on the site after a British player bagged £244,753 (€286,674) from Microgaming’s Treasure Nile and another Swede made off with SEK 5,257,551 (€516,063) from Wheel of Wishes, created by the studio’s partner Alchemy Gaming.

Videoslots Chief Executive Alexander Stevendahl said the run of luck was why the casino, which was named Slots Operator of the Year award at this week’s International Gaming Awards, was a real player favourite.

He added: “With over 6,000 slots to choose from our customers are never short of options when it comes to finding a great game and these recent wins are proof that there are fabulous prizes to be won for the lucky ones.

“We hope all our recent winners have fun with these life-changing sums of money and that others really enjoy their experience when they log on to Videoslots. Let the good times roll!”
