Warren Greatrex has joined Fairplay as an ambassador for the upcoming 2026/27 Jumps season.

The multiple Grade 1-winning trainer, known for stars such as Cole Harden and La Bague Au Roi, will provide regular updates from his Lambourn yard throughout the Jumps season with blogs and video content.

Mr Greatrex said: “I think from our side, the partnership will allow us to showcase the yard, and through regular blogs and content we can show exactly what we do, from riding out, showing people how to swim horses and treadmilling. We’ve got an excellent young team here and I’m really pleased that with Fairplay we can showcase this.

Bill Gowing, Founder and Managing Director at Fairplay, said: “There’s no hiding from the fact that British racing is facing a challenging period. Rising costs, increased regulation and changing market conditions mean it’s more important than ever that businesses with a genuine passion for the sport continue to invest in it.

“That’s exactly why partnering with Warren Greatrex Racing was such a natural decision for us. [Mr Greatrex] has built a yard that’s founded on hard work, integrity and ambition – values that are central to Fairplay as a business. We’re both committed to doing things the right way, building for the long term and always striving to improve.

While others may be reducing their involvement in the sport, we see this as the right time to step forward.”

Fairplay, which has offices in St Julian’s, began as a social peer-to-peer betting platform in 2023, with sportsbook Fairplay Bet launching following the award of a sportsbook licence.

Fairplay also have an on-course presence, taking up a pitch at Glorious Goodwood for the first time this year, and plan to acquire a Cheltenham pitch and Newbury National Hunt pitch for the 2026/27 season.
