Altenar, a leading sports betting and iGaming software provider, has appointed Nikos Zygouris as Head of Sportsbook Product and Alfred Bashllari as Sportsbook Product Consultant, reinforcing its sportsbook development capabilities.

Mr Zygouris joins from Malta-licenced Campeon Gaming, bringing over 12 years of experience with suppliers and operators including Novibet, Intralot, and OpenBet.

On the other hand, Mr Bashllari has two decades of product development, operations, mergers and acquisitions experience from roles at Sportradar, Betgenius, Scientific Games and OPAP.

The appointments are aimed at enhancing Altenar’s ability to deliver scalable, flexible sportsbook solutions to operators worldwide.

Commenting on his appointment Mr Zygouris expressed his excitement in joining Altenar after a “hugely successful year.”

Meanwhile Mr Bashllari said he is extremely “thrilled to join the team.”

Antonis Karakousis, Altenar’s Director of Product, said the new appointments reflect the company’s commitment to investing in product leadership as Altenar expands into new markets.

“Nikos and Alfred bring a wealth of experience and strategic thinking that will directly support our long-term goals. We’re excited to welcome them aboard,” he concluded.
