Andrea Saliba has been promoted to the position of Director of People & Culture at Malta-headquartered Hero Gaming.
The online casino gaming company was founded in 2013 and has undergone rapid growth in the almost 10 years in operation.
The company operates a number of online casino brands which it developed and brought to market, including Boom Casino, Casino Heroes and Simple Casino.
Andrea’s foray into the iGaming sector began with Hero Gaming, when he joined the company in May 2018 as a HR Business Partner, steadily climbing up the ranks to reach the position of Director.
Prior to Hero Gaming, he worked in the aviation industry and in Malta’s language schools.

As part of the restructure, former Director Ollie Drew, who joined Square in the Air in 2009, becomes chief operating officer, with Robin Hutchison, also formerly a director, who joined the agency in 2012, appointed as chief commercial officer

His appointment comes into effect from September 2024, and will see him remain on the board of Games Global as an independent non-executive director
