Continent 8 Technologies has appointed industry veteran Julia Weygandt as its new Head of Client Growth & New Business.
Based in Malta, Ms Weygandt will lead strategic initiatives focused on long-term customer growth and new market opportunities, working closely with Continent 8’s Sales team and Practice Leads. Her remit centres on deepening customer relationships, securing new partnerships, and supporting clients navigating increasingly complex technical and regulatory environments.
Ms Weygandt brings more than two decades of experience across gaming, entertainment, and technology, having held senior roles including COO at G Games and Tornado Games and Head of International Partnerships at GAMOMAT. Her track record spans commercial strategy, international expansion, and scaling operations to deliver substantial revenue growth.
She is also a well-known advocate for diversity and leadership in gaming, serving on the Board of Global Gaming Women and leading partnerships for Behind the Gloves, a corporate–charity initiative combining boxing and professional development.
Nick Nally, Chief Revenue Officer at Continent 8 Technologies, described the appointment as an important step in strengthening the company’s commercial momentum.

In her first comments since taking on the role, Ms Weygandt emphasised her long-standing familiarity with the company and her focus on client success.
