Betsson Group has won five awards at the EGR Nordics Awards 2022, to the excitement of its team, including its head of external communications, Roderick Spiteri Schillig, who asked: “Does it get any better?”
The awards were held on Thursday in Malta, and saw Betsson walk away with the awards for Best Affiliate Programme, Customer Service Operator, Marketing Campaign, Sports Betting Operator, and Operator of the Year.
These prestigious awards celebrate the most successful and innovative online gaming companies operating in the Nordic region. It is a respected ceremony that recognises operators that truly stand out in what is a highly competitive market.
Making their decisions, judges evaluate commercial success, ground-breaking innovation, best customer service or marketing skills and aim to reward companies that are “truly outstanding.”
The voting process for the award was conducted by consulting firm Deloitte, which aimed to ensure full transparency of the process.
Betsson received strong praise across the board for all of its awards.
For example, of its affiliate programme, the judges commented it was a “textbook example of a great affiliate programme.”
Of its customer service regimen, the judges said it was making “innovative strides”, and on its marketing, one judge said: “I was incredibly impressed by their TV commercial.”
Describing the sportsbetting offering, a judge stated that Betsson has “taught its competitors a big lesson with its exceptional marketing activities.”
When deciding that Betsson Group deserves the coveted ‘Operator of the Year’ title, a judge described Betsson as a “giant in the industry and with an operational high standard and innovative and differentiation when it comes to marketing and offering presence
