Live betting content provider Sports Information Services (SIS) has partnered with UK operator Spreadex to bring to market an advanced esports betting product launched as SIS Competitive Gaming. Popular titles including Esoccer, Ebasketball and Strike (CS:GO) will offer more opportunities to Spreadex customers when the titles are added to the operator’s platform. Live events featuring professional and highly skilled gamers will also be available.
Gamers will also have access to additional options such as ‘in-play’ and ‘pre-game’ betting, live streaming data and on-screen widgets.
Both companies have expressed their confidence in the new partnership. Harri Hulatt, Commercial Manager for the UK and Europe at SIS, said that the company will be providing gamers with “quick-fire betting opportunities and superior margins”.
Andrew Wallington, head of trading at Spreadex, said that the partnership will “help increase engagement and drive incremental revenues.”
SIS is a leading creator and supplier of 24/7 live esports betting content offering a betting event every three minutes. In addition to horse and greyhound racing, the company offer more than 150,000 competitive esports events annually. It is affiliated with around 400 operators in more than 50 countries. SIS was established in 1986 as ‘Satellite Information Services’ and its majority shareholding is held by Ladbrokes (23 per cent), Caledonia Investments (22.5 per cent), Alternateport Limited (20.5 per cent) and William Hill (19.5 per cent).
Privately owned Spreadex was founded in 1999 by former City trader Jonathan Hufford with the intention of making spread betting more accessible. In May 2006, Spreadex launched an online sports betting service and trading platform. The award-winning company specialises in financial and sports spread betting fixed odds and casino betting.
