Malta-based iGaming platform provider The Mill Adventure (TMA) has appointed Gerardo Prieto as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
In his new role, Mr Prieto will lead TMA’s security division, developing and implementing a comprehensive security framework to safeguard the company’s partners and players from cyber threats. He will also oversee compliance with data protection and privacy regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
He brings extensive experience in technology and information security, having previously served as Director of Technology at Agora: The Worldwide Awards and Information Security Director at AI software specialist Aifi.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Prieto said he looks forward to strengthening TMA’s security foundations as the company expands in regulated markets.
“It’s my strong belief that security is built by great people, and I am grateful that the team here fits that bill perfectly. There’s a fantastic energy and drive here to succeed and create the future of iGaming, with security at its core,” he said.

The Mill Adventure currently operates in Germany, Austria, Malta and Sweden, with partnerships active in Georgia and upcoming launches in Portugal, Ontario (Canada), the Netherlands and Estonia.
TMA’s platform is recognised for its technology-driven approach, including innovations such as SmartLobbies, an AI-powered automated casino lobby system, and Betpool, a social feature that allows shared betting experiences across casino, live casino and sportsbook products.
