The New Year is swiftly approaching, and many of us will be preparing to let out a giant sigh of relief at what will mark the end of a trying year, and the beginning of a smoother one.

2021 proved to be a fruitful year for the iGaming sector, despite the uncertainties that persisted thanks to the global pandemic. Indeed, Europe’s total gambling market revenue will have increased by 7.5 per cent in 2021, driven by 19 per cent growth in the online market, according to new data published by the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) in collaboration with H2 Gambling.

With the approaching New Year, many take to social media to wish customers, colleagues and staff well for the new year, and iGaming companies are no exception.

To mark the New Year, iGamingCapital.mt has gathered the well wishes of some prominent firms in Malta and abroad.

San Gwann, Malta-based Lucksome kept it simple, wishing followers a Happy New Year, while toasting to 2022 being a “pivotal year.”

The company’s founder and director Bryan Upton added to the company’s official announcement, saying: “I hope 2022 will be more prosperous and less defined by COVID and more about human tenacity, hope, passion and innovation. Peace to all.”

Similarly, Evoplay, a Cyprus-based software provider, said that with 2021 winding down and 2022 “right around the corner,” it wishes its partners and friends a “happy and prosperous New Year.”

Reflecting on 2021, the company wrote: “Thank you for all the fruitful and enjoyable cooperation this year, support in all groundbreaking projects, dedication to the idea, and trust and loyalty to Evoplay.”

St Julian’s, Malta-based ComeOn Group joined in reflection, exclaiming: “What a year we had – filled with challenges but also great achievements.”

Speaking just prior to Christmas, Catena Media took the opportunity to wish followers a Happy New Year.

“May it bring joy to your hearts and happiness to your homes! We made it through 2021 and look forward to 2021 with you all.”
