Kalamba Games has announced it is preparing to enter another key European market following the certification of a range of the studio’s proven slot titles, marking a further strengthening of its commercial growth.

Top-performing games, including Atlantis Thunder, Burning Diamonds, Griffin’s Quest and a selection of Kalamba’s popular Joker series, are among nine titles that are now ready for distribution to Swedish operators, all having proven extremely popular with players across the continent.

Kalamba’s entry looks set to take advantage of a burgeoning industry in Sweden, where iGaming continues to be the primary source of gambling revenue thanks to the increase in Q2 revenue (combined with sports betting) which rose by 13.9 per cent year-on-year to SEK4.11bn (€410 million).

The new certification is the latest market expansion for Kalamba in the last 12 months, having recently entered Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and been awarded a Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) license.

Kalamba’s content is now live with over 400 operators via its proprietary Bullseye RGS platform  as well as partner aggregation platforms.

Alex Cohen, COO and co-founder at Kalamba Games, said: “It’s pleasing to mark our entry into yet another important market in Europe, one which, as recent numbers attest, is continuing to perform strongly.

“It’s a further step for our growth ambitions and a fantastic shop window for the high quality, diverse range of games that we produce. It’s a great way to begin rounding off a busy year for new partnerships and territories and we’re looking forward to continuing in a similar vein in 2022.”
