George Portelli has been appointed Head of Legal and Compliance at ThrillTech.

Dr Portelli is a Maltese lawyer, with professional experience in law, compliance, fintech and iGaming.

He joined Thrilltech, an iGaming technology company focused on providing gaming and engagement tech, earlier this year as a senior legal counsel.

In a LinkedIn post, the company said that “George brings wealth of experience and sharp legal insight that will be invaluable as we continue to grow and navigate new opportunities.”

Prior to that, he worked as a legal counsel team lead at a financial services firm, and as a senior legal, compliance officer and AML executive at an iGaming company.

Founded in 2023, ThrillTech has an Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) B2B licence and delivers scalable, player-funded side bet solutions to the world’s largest gambling operators.
