With restrictions lifting in Malta and the iGaming industry ever growing, there’s a pent-up demand for live events and SBC marketing are aiming to deliver what the industry wants with the upcoming CasinoBeats Summit 2021 in Malta.

The third edition of the CasinoBeats Summit 2021 will return to Malta and will be delivered jointly by SBC Events and Gaming Malta. The conference and exhibition with will take place at the InterContinental Hotel in St Julian’s on 13th – 15th July.

The iGaming event will be “a hybrid event that will take place both online and in-person” says marketing director Dennis Algreen from SBC Events in the UK. “We’re still waiting on announcements from the Maltese Government but we’re confident that they will ease restrictions. At the moment there can be up to 100 people at events but we’re hoping that will increase to 500”.

When questioned about the possibility of the event being cancelled, Mr Algreen remarked that “the event will definitely go ahead one way or another, even if it needs to be fully online, but we’re confident that the live event will take place.”

Asked about the feasibility of a UK audience attending, Mr Algreen was not so sure, “it’s hard to know at this point, there’s a huge interest here and people want to go but with current restrictions in place, it might not be possible to go for a lot of people with potential extra travelling costs. Malta currently has a system in place where customers can receive attractive discounts from their hotel bookings which helps”.

“There’s a huge iGaming hub in Malta and we’re also selling tickets to the event so we’re expecting it to be a success.”

CasinoBeats Summit 2021 will conclude with the Game Developer Awards which will award the best in the industry in 14 categories that recognise marketing, performance and creativity.
