Greentube, a NOVOMATIC Interactive division, has on Wednesday announced it has taken its games portfolio live with OnlineCasino Deutschland AG, marking the supplier’s debut in the newly regulated market.
The milestone partnership will see Greentube content go live in Germany for the first time since the country’s new legislation on online gambling came into force on 1st July.
According to the company’s announcement, the market entry is an important step for the supplier, which sees Germany as a key territory in its growth strategy.
Greentube content is already popular in the country’s land-based sector, according to the company, and is expected to be familiar to local players.
Celebrating the news, Julia Schagerl, Key Account Manager Germany at Greentube, which is Austria-based but has maintained a strong presence in Malta since 2006, said: “We are beyond excited to have finally launched our games portfolio in the newly-regulated and highly anticipated German market.
“The country has huge potential and our content has already proven popular with the local audience so we have high hopes for what the future has in store. OnlineCasino makes the perfect partner as we introduce our games to online players as they are an established operator with a great focus on responsible gaming”.
OnlineCasino Deutschland AG is described as a “pioneer” in the German online gaming market, which has been providing a licensed offering since 2013.
On its part, CEO and Founder Andreas Pfeiffer commented: “Greentube’s content is a must-have for a German operator and as the online market opens up nationwide we are thrilled to be the first operator to introduce their renowned games portfolio to local online customers for the fist time.
“It is an exciting time for the gaming industry in Germany and we look forward to working together with Greentube to grow our online brand”.
