Mark Pace has been appointed head of data & analytics at LeoVegas Group, he announced on Monday.
Mr Pace has been with the Stockholm-headquartered global iGaming operator since 2017 as a business analyst, and steadily climbed his way up the ranks. The operator, while headquartered in the Swedish capital of Stockholm, has a strong presence in Malta, where Mr Pace is based.
He first joined the iGaming industry back in 2009 and has occupied posts for various Malta-based companies in the sector.
During his time at LeoVegas, he also occupied the roles of senior business analyst – team lead, head of business intelligence and now, head of data & analytics.
Giving special thanks to LeoVegas Director Robert Farrugia, Mr Pace thanked him for “always believing” in him, and for providing mentorship throughout his journey.
He also thanked the people at LeoVegas for the “amazing culture, spirit ant teamwork!”

As part of the restructure, former Director Ollie Drew, who joined Square in the Air in 2009, becomes chief operating officer, with Robin Hutchison, also formerly a director, who joined the agency in 2012, appointed as chief commercial officer

His appointment comes into effect from September 2024, and will see him remain on the board of Games Global as an independent non-executive director
