Renowned restaurant lounge franchise Buddha-Bar is opening its doors in St Julian’s on October 29th.

Buddha-Bar originally launched in Paris in 1996 as a Buddha-themed upscale bar and Asian restaurant with an eastern ambience and has grown rapidly since then.

The brand has expanded internationally, opening venues in destinations including Monte-Carlo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bodrum, Marrakech, Prague, Mauritius and Mykonos.

Its international portfolio spans restaurants, bars, hotels and beach clubs, while the brand has also released a series of music compilations.

The St Julian’s opening will mark Buddha-Bar’s entry into the Maltese market, adding another international name to the island’s growing restaurant and nightlife scene.

“Across its global destinations, the brand is recognised for creating spaces where dining and nightlife meet, where the experience is shaped as much by sound, light and atmosphere as it is by what is served at the table,” the brand said.

“Buddha-Bar Malta will continue with this approach, introducing a venue made for dinners that unfold slowly, cocktails that lead into conversation, and nights that feel considered from beginning to end.”

“Located in St. Julian’s, the venue is set to become a new point of reference within Malta’s premium hospitality scene.”

“It brings together a refined restaurant experience, an atmospheric bar setting and the social energy of a night-time destination, creating a place suited to intimate dinners, celebrations, after-work drinks, late evenings and memorable occasions.”
