Richard Dennys has stepped down from his role as CEO of Game Lounge, marking the end of a tenure that spanned over two years at the Malta-headquartered firm.
In a statement, Mr Dennys said the decision reflects a personal transition point, noting: “This feels like the right moment for me to take a step back and focus on what comes next.” He added that he intends to spend the coming months with family and friends, while also exploring a limited number of opportunities at board and advisory level, alongside potential investments.
His departure comes after being recognised by the Malta iGaming Excellence Awards (MiGEA), where he was named Gaming CEO of the Year in June 2025.
Prior to joining Game Lounge, Mr Dennys built a career across digital, marketing, and technology-focused businesses. His previous roles include Chief Marketing Officer at Azimo, Chief Commercial Officer at Moonfruit, and Programme Director and Advisory Partner at Tech City UK. He also served as CEO of Webgains for seven years.
No immediate successor has been announced by Game Lounge at the time of writing.
