Malta-based B2B iGaming development studio RubyPlay has appointed Tsachi Maimon as its new CEO, where he will join the company’s co-founders in their vision to take the business to the next level.
With nearly 20 years of experience within the global gaming industry, Mr Maimon brings a wealth of senior leadership expertise to RubyPlay.
He was instrumental in the evolution of iGaming solutions provider Aspire Global as its CEO, successfully expanding the business through the acquisitions of sportsbook provider BtoBet and content aggregator Pariplay, as well as investing in bingo supplier End2End, leading to consistent year-on-year financial growth.
Aspire Global was eventually acquired by NeoGames in 2022, during which Mr Maimon became President and Head of iGaming for the expanded group. He took up his most recent position as Chief Strategy Officer at Aristocrat Interactive after the company was acquired by Aristocrat in 2024.
Mr Maimon starts his new role on Wednesday 1st October 2025, overseeing RubyPlay’s corporate strategy and looking to build on a strong period of commercial growth that has seen the company significantly strengthen its global footprint.
More recently, the studio has enjoyed impressive entries into Brazil and the US, partnering with tier one operators to reach a broad audience of players with its immersive slot portfolio.
Alongside the development of unique and high-performing mechanics such as Immortal Ways®, Go High® and Diamond Explosion®, RubyPlay has evolved from a creative supplier into a trusted partner for tier-one operators, recognised for its localised approach and bespoke content capabilities.
The launch of new independent games studio Koala Games earlier this year further strengthened the company’s portfolio, as part of its diversification strategy to deliver distinctive iGaming experiences.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Maimon said: “Joining RubyPlay is a significant move and I’m looking forward to working closely with the company founders and management to lead the company to new heights.
“The growth of RubyPlay over recent years has been truly remarkable, and this is reflected by the fact that its games are available through the biggest operator brands in the world. Now is the time to build on this successful platform and elevate the business to an even higher level.
He said a key part of my role will be to help drive RubyPlay’s strategy to become a leading player in North America.
“Together, we are an ambitious team that is determined to set new benchmarks and achieve our targets.”
