Two new internal promotions at Betsson Group have been announced.
“I am very happy to share two well-deserved internal promotions within my HR team,” Chief HR Officer at Betsson Group Lena Nordin said.
Claire Mifsud has been promoted to Director HR Business Support, and Caitriona McWilliams (nee Redmond) has been promoted to Director Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding.
Lena Nordin said that Caitriona McWilliams has played a key role in strengthening and developing the talent acquisition function, introducing new ways of working and helping the company continue to attract talent.
“Together with the team, she has also helped establish and grow our Employer Branding capability, creating a stronger foundation for how we position Betsson as an employer of choice. Her drive, collaboration and focus on continuous improvement have already made a strong impact," she added.
She said that Claire Mifsud has quickly become a trusted partner to leaders across the organisation, helping teams navigate growth, change and new opportunities. “She brings a strong understanding of the business, combined with strategic thinking and a pragmatic, people-focused approach. This makes her exceptionally well suited for her new role and the next phase of our HR journey.”
“HR has an important role to play in supporting Betsson’s continued growth. This requires curious, forward-thinking people who are ready to embrace new ways of working and use technology, AI and automation to create business value. Caitriona and Claire both bring this mindset, together with strong experience, business understanding and a clear focus on supporting our business priorities," Ms Nordin said.
