Alexia Gauci appointed Casino Operations Manager at Betr

Alexia Gauci has joined US-based gaming company Betr as Casino Operations Manager, bringing experience in account management, business development and client services within the iGaming industry.

Ms Gauci announced her appointment on LinkedIn, describing the move as a “full circle moment”, having previously worked with Betr when the company was among her first US clients.

“New month, new beginnings,” she wrote, adding that she was “absolutely stoked” to be joining the company. She also expressed enthusiasm about working alongside Betr co-founder Joey Levy and other members of the team.

“Anyone who knows me knows just how passionate I am about the social space in our industry, so I couldn’t be more excited about this next chapter,” she said.

Prior to joining Betr, Ms Gauci held several positions across the iGaming sector, including Account Manager and Senior Account Manager at 1X2 Network.

Her previous experience also includes serving as B2B Sales Manager at ReferOn and Client Services Manager at iGaming Academy, among other roles.

She graduated from the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) in 2016 with an Advanced Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceutical Sciences).

Founded in 2022 by Joey Levy and Jake Paul, Betr operates a real-money gaming platform offering several products, including Picks, Predictions, Social Sportsbook, Social Casino and Arcade.

The company reports having one million paying users and describes itself as one of the fastest-growing businesses in the gaming industry.

Ms Gauci's appointment marks the latest step in her career within the iGaming sector, as she takes on an operational role at the US gaming operator.
