Malta-based iGaming operator Betpoint Group has appointed Lahcene Merzoug, former ComeOn Group Chief, as its CEO, the company announced on Tuesday.
Mr Merzoug, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the iGaming industry, brings skills gained in senior roles in marketing and business development at Evoke Gaming, Bonnier Gaming AB and Redbet.com.
Welcoming him to the company on social media, Betpoint Group said: “Bringing a wealth of industry experience, [Mr Merzoug] will be responsible for overseeing our ambitious expansion plans into new markets”.
Mr Merzoug also celebrated the appointment on social media, hailing “time for a new adventure”.
The new requirement is aimed at ensuring that licensees are financially equipped to sustain their operations
