Malta-based provider of iGaming solutions for operators and white labels Aspire Global has said it has achieved carbon neutrality.
Announcing the achievement on Thursday, the company explained that it has been focused on environment-related milestones for several years.
It has set goals, implemented energy-reducing initiatives, while compensating for the emissions it can’t avoid, it said.
“We’re proud to say that we reached our goal to become a carbon-neutral organisation and are already in line with the Paris Agreement set for 2050 – 29 years ahead of the game”, the organisation celebrated.
To celebrate the achievement, it shared a video of two Aspire employees on their green commutes into work – one via roller skates and the other cycling.
It’s only the latest piece of exciting news from Aspire.
In recent months, the company has announced partnerships with Real Luck Group and Stake.com and also celebrated its winning of an award for ‘Best Online Industry Achiever of the Year’ at the Malta iGaming Excellence Awards (MiGEA) this week.
Additionally, as part of its commitment to protecting the environment, the company announced its sponsorship of Expedition Clear Shores 2021, an initiative which aims to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and safe coastline for the aquatic ecosystem in Malta.
