Beatrice Collet has been promoted to Group Chief Business Officer at Chiliz and Socios.com, marking the latest milestone in a career that has been closely intertwined with the evolution of the blockchain-based sports engagement company.
Chiliz is headquartered at the recently refurbished Wembley Business Centre in Gżira. Malta continues to play an important role in the group’s regulatory and operational footprint.
Announcing the promotion, Ms Collet reflected on her journey with the organisation, which began nearly eight years ago.
“From minting $CHZ and running the very first Fan Token Offerings, to watching regulations shape and mature our industry. Wild moments, pivotal ones, and everything in between,” she wrote.
She also thanked Chiliz Founder and CEO Alexandre Dreyfus for his leadership and support.
The promotion comes at a significant period for the Chiliz ecosystem, as the company continues to expand its blockchain infrastructure and pursue international growth opportunities.
Looking ahead, Ms Collet pointed to the company’s long-term ambitions under its “Chiliz 2030” strategy, highlighting omnichain expansion to Solana and Base, growing decentralised finance (DeFi) opportunities, and increased access to the US market following regulatory developments.
“We’re just getting started,” she said.
Chiliz, the blockchain platform behind Socios.com, has established itself as one of the most recognisable names in the emerging SportFi sector, enabling sports organisations to engage with supporters through blockchain-based fan tokens and digital experiences.
Malta continues to play an important role in the group’s regulatory and operational footprint. In 2025, Malta-based Socios Europe Services Limited (SES), part of the Chiliz Group, became the first sports-focused platform to secure authorisation under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation.
