Game development studio ELA Games has entered the Danish market through a new content partnership with online gaming operator Betsson.

The agreement will see a selection of ELA Games’ slot titles made available to Betsson players in Denmark, including Flame Fruits Frenzy, Cash of Gods, and It’s Shark Time!.

Founded in 1963 as AB Restaurang Rouletter in Sweden, Betsson has grown into one of the world’s leading online gaming companies, operating multiple brands across Europe, Latin America, and other regions. Its portfolio includes casino games, sports betting, and other gaming products.

ELA Games, which was established in 2021, has developed 28 slot games to date. The studio focuses on creating titles with high-quality graphics, interactive gameplay, and varied themes.

The partnership enables ELA Games to increase its reach in northern Europe while adding to Betsson’s range of content for the Danish market.

Betsson Group, which serves as the operational headquarters of Betsson AB, has had a presence in Malta since 2004, when it became one of the first online gaming companies to be licensed on the island. Today, the company employs over 1,200 people of more than 60 nationalities in roles spanning HR, legal, finance, customer service, odds compiling, digital marketing, and technology.

Its Maltese operations are based across two sites: The eight-storey Betsson Experience Centre in Ta’ Xbiex, overlooking the marina, and the ESquared Hub in St Julian’s.
