Product management specialist Andrew Micallef has been named chief product officer at iGaming company High Roller, he announced on Wednesday. This follows a number of senior appointments at the recently launched firm.
He joins after more than four years at Malta-based iGaming firm Genesis Global Limited, during which time he worked as senior product manager, before he was subsequently promoted to product team lead and afterwards to head of product.
Mr Micallef also spent a year as product manager at platform and media provider Gaming Innovation Group, and almost two years as product owner at Betsson Group’s Oranje Casino and Kroon Casino. His array of experience extends to over eight years at IT and software company 6PM Solutions, where he initially worked as a software developer, before he was promoted to product manager and software development manager for QuickFocus.com.
Mr Micallef holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Computer and Information Systems from London Metropolitan University and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance. Apart from product management, he describes himself as also being skilled in agile methodologies and software development.
High Roller is is the operator of the Highroller.com online casino brand and is licensed by the Curacao Gaming Authority. The firm has an atmosphere that “breathes exclusivity”, with its vision being to “capture that exclusivity” and give it back to its customers.
