Slot games provider Pragmatic Play has partnered with Ontario-based NorthStar Gaming to offer its portfolio to the North American market. This deal marks Pragmatic Play’s growth in new and emerging markets and follows a number of commercial agreements with bet365, 500 Casino and Fortuna Entertainment Group.
It will see Pragmatic Play supply its complete sportsbook and casino portfolio of popular slots content in the Canadian Provence of Ontario through NorthStar Gaming and NorthStar Bets. Ontario entered the gaming market following a change in legislation in April this year and is quickly establishing itself as a major gaming market in North America. It is regulated by The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Irina Cornides, COO at Pragmatic Play stated that she is delighted with the announcement that the company continues its growth strategy with its expansion to North America. CEO Michael Moskowitz, who is also a founding partner at NorthStar Gaming, said that Pragmatic Play’s award-winning slot portfolio will provide NorthStar Bets with content that has proven to be a huge success in multiple markets globally and will give players “an immersive and content driven gaming experience that also features some of the most popular slots.”
Pragmatic Play produces around seven new slot titles a month and delivers live casino and bingo and slot games and creates mobile and desktop content to engage gamers. Its portfolio consists of more than 80 HTML5 titles supported in 23 languages and most major currencies. The award winning most popular games include ‘Sugar Rush’, ‘Gates of Olympus’ and ‘Big Bass Splash’.
North Star Gaming operates NorthStar Bets, an established casino and sportsbook providing real time news, stats, analysis and scores as well as a suite of very popular online casino games.
