After what has been close to two years of rapid changes stemming from the pandemic, technological advances and snowballing regulatory and compliance requirements, major players in the iGaming sector are more excited than ever about the trends that are shaping the future of the industry.

This sentiment was palpably clear in the Winter 2021/2022 edition of iGaming Capital magazine, produced by Content House Group, one of Malta’s largest media organisations owning and managing over 20 media brands in the online and print sectors.

The Group had launched iGaming Capital magazine some years back and it has grown into Malta’s leading industry magazine, leading to the launch earlier this year of its sister brand www.iGamingCapital.mt, which has proved to be an instant hit on the market.

For this latest edition of iGaming Capital magazine, many of the stakeholders in the industry talk of their anticipation about the months and years ahead – the increase in esports, the integration of VR, and the constantly growing focus on player experience.

The cover story, dealing with the future of iGaming, shares insights from several seasoned players in the industry, including Michael Muscat, a partner at Helix Partners, Marion Gamel, an Executive Coach at Mariongamel.com, Justin Mifsud, CEO of World Pro Racing, Karl Gonzi, Managing Director at Entain Malta and Mikael Hansson, CEO of Enteractive.

“The anticipation is palpable and some of the people we speak to in this edition of iGaming Capital are more enthusiastic than ever about what is to come,” says Jo Caruana, Editor of iGaming Capital magazine.

This edition also celebrates some of the brilliant minds that are driving that change – and particularly some of the most influential women in the sector in Malta.

The publication chats to eight of the well-known faces motivating change, from people management to sustainability and everything in between.

But, of course, there are challenges facing the sector too, largely related to the global dearth of human resources, and the snowballing demands of regulatory developments. iGaming Capital Magazine addresses both issues too, sharing the solutions experts recommend and the opportunities opening up.

There’s certainly plenty to explore, think about, and be inspired by as the sector goes into this thrilling next era of an industry that has already achieved so much.

Core members of the iGaming Capital print team include Director of Sales and Business Development Corporate Sales Matthew Spiteri, Corporate Sales and Business Development Manager Marie Claire Camilleri, Brand Sales Executive Jovana Grech, Operations & Client Relationship Manager Elena Dimech and Creative Director and Design Nicholas Cutajar.
