GiG & Betzone

Malta-based iGaming technology provider Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) (First North: GiG SDB) has strengthened its foothold in the UK market with the launch of Betzone Limited’s revamped online platform. This marks GiG’s second UK launch of 2025, reinforcing its growth strategy in one of Europe’s largest regulated betting markets.

The new Betzone platform integrates GiG’s proprietary X-Suite technology, including SportX, a sportsbook solution featuring advanced bet-building, dynamic odds, and UK-specific functionalities such as horse racing and virtual sports betting. The CoreX iGaming platform will also support Betzone’s broader online casino offerings.

The UK betting market, valued at an estimated £11 billion (€12.8 billion) annually, remains a key target for Malta’s iGaming firms. GiG’s expansion underscores Malta’s continued role as a hub for gaming technology, with local companies driving innovation and compliance in major regulated markets.

This latest partnership highlights GiG’s momentum in 2025, following multiple brand launches and strong demand for its solutions at ICE Barcelona, the industry’s leading trade event. CEO Richard Carter emphasized the company’s strategic ambitions, stating that the Betzone launch reflects GiG’s growing reputation for technological excellence and its ability to support operators in competitive markets.

Betzone CEO Adam Joseph also praised GiG’s platform, highlighting its potential to enhance player engagement, boost acquisition and retention, and solidify Betzone’s presence in the UK’s online betting sector.

With further expansion expected throughout the year, GiG’s international growth reinforces Malta’s position as a leader in the iGaming technology sector, with local firms continuing to shape the future of global online gaming.
