Lauren Holder, head of casino at Betsson Group subsidiary Zecure Gaming, has announced her departure from the role, taking to social media to bid her colleagues farewell and reflect on her time at the company.
She explained that over her two years and eight months at the company, she was able to work with “some of the best people and mentors” in the iGaming industry, and thanked the company for the opportunity.
Encouraging her social media network to apply for the newly vacant position, she stated that the successful applicant would lead the “unbelievable” team she’s put together over the last year, saying: “trust me, they’re the best”.
Addressing this team, Ms Holder said “ciao for now Betsson, especially my team, and thank you for the opportunities over the years and thanks to the people that have supported me on my journey here in Malta”.
While she did not specify where she will be going next, she said she was “super excited to move to [new pastures]”, getting a “new challenge and hopefully picking up a few more tricks of the trade on the way”.
Ms Holder is an iGaming industry veteran, having been involved in the industry for around a decade, joining Betfred as a VIP e-gaming executive in August 2011.
In roles that followed, she worked at prominent companies including Boylesports and Ladbrokes Coral Group.
