Malta-based gaming supplier Yggdrasil is strengthening its presence in Romania’s regulated iGaming market after entering into a new content partnership with Kaizen Gaming, one of the country’s leading operators.
The agreement will give Romanian players access to a selection of Yggdrasil’s most popular titles through Kaizen Gaming’s flagship brand, Betano. The portfolio includes fan-favourite games such as Valley of the Gods, Vikings Go to Hell and Rainbow Ryan, alongside other titles from Yggdrasil’s extensive catalogue.
The partnership will also introduce players to high-performing titles from studios participating in the YGG Masters Program. Content from developers including 4ThePlayer, ReelPlay and Reflex Gaming will form part of the offering, further expanding the range of games available to Betano customers in Romania.
The deal represents another step in Yggdrasil’s international expansion strategy and strengthens its position in one of Eastern Europe’s key regulated gaming markets.
Kaizen Gaming operates across 20 markets worldwide through Betano, establishing the brand as a major player in the global online gaming industry. The company originated in Greece and also has a significant corporate presence in Malta through Kaizen Gaming International Limited, a Malta-registered entity.
Through the new agreement, Betano’s growing Romanian player base will gain access to a broader selection of Yggdrasil content, while Yggdrasil and its studio partners gain greater exposure in the market.
Commenting on the partnership, Aurora Armaro, Head of Region for Latam & USA at Yggdrasil, said: “Partnering with Kaizen Gaming, one of the industry's leading operators, represents another significant step in Yggdrasil’s global expansion journey.”
The agreement highlights the growing importance of Romania within the regulated iGaming landscape and gives Yggdrasil another opportunity to expand its reach through an established operator and its network of studio partners.
