Alistair Facciol has been named head of legal and compliance at Hero Gaming, a leading gamified gambling company.

Mr Facciol has spent his professional career based in Malta, having first worked with a number of prominent local law firms such as Gonzi and Associates, Portman International, Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates and Fenech & Fenech Associates.

In 2018, he made the switch to providing his legal services for the iGaming industry, having joined ComeOn! as legal counsel.

The legal professional then ramped up his experience in the field of compliance with an almost three-year stint at Entain as a compliance manager, moving on to a brief period at Bragg Gaming, a global b2b gaming technology company.

Mr Facciol’s appointment comes several months after Hero Gaming acquired another industry heavyweight. In February, the gamified company reinforced its leadership team with the addition of Patrick Jonker as CEO.
