BETBY, the innovative sportsbook supplier, has added to its team with the hiring of Ilze Ramolina as Senior Lawyer.

Ms Ramolina boasts 20 years of experience across the gambling industry, both B2C and B2B, and will use her expertise to ensure BETBY can navigate the compliance, certification and licencing landscape flawlessly.

The appointment will also further assist BETBY as it looks to expand in new jurisdictions, adding more licences to its regulated market portfolio.

Ms Ramolina will be based out of BETBY’s Latvian hub as the legal team looks to rapidly expand in line with the supplier’s commercial success.

BETBY has continued its momentum into 2022, signing with EEG and Hero Gaming in recent weeks, making a strong start for the new year.

Eva Berkova, COO at BETBY, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Ilze to the BETBY team. Boasting an incredible track record and great experience across all aspects of the gambling industry, we’re very hopeful that she can apply her expertise to allow us to reach new heights in regulated markets.”

Ms Ramolina added: “I’ve been very lucky throughout my career so far to work for some fantastic companies, and I’m thrilled to be joining BETBY. An ambitious company with huge plans, it is set to offer some great opportunities and I look forward to being part of the journey.

“I am very passionate about my work and what I do, which aligns perfectly with the attitude at BETBY as we look to maximise our potential.”
