Betsson Group, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden but with operational headquarters in Malta, announced that it has donated 42,000 SEK (€4,024) to Cancerfonden – the Sweden Cancer Society, to mark World Cancer Day.
The Group said that colleagues in Sweden made the donation after collecting funds from Betssonites in Stockholm, and doubled by Betsson AB.
“In Sweden, one in three receives a cancer diagnosis during their lifetime.
“In order for fewer people to be affected and more people to survive, the Swedish Cancer Society funds research, disseminate knowledge about cancer and influence decision-makers on important issues,” Betsson Group shared with its network, highlighting the important work undertaken by such NGOs.
