Kalamba Games has appointed Kai Botha as head of product marketing, further strengthening its team as it continues to expand its talent pool.

Mr Botha brings with him several years of experience in iGaming, joining Kalamba from the Skywind Group where, as head of growth and strategy, he was responsible for managing all bespoke and network promotion campaigns. Prior to that, he spent time with Microgaming as a games marketing manager and worked in digital media strategy at an asset management firm.

Leveraging his extensive experience in conceptualising, executing, and measuring B2B digital marketing campaigns and promotions, Mr Botha’s skillset will be vital to Kalamba as it continues to grow its team to meet its commercial goals.

Andrew Crosby, chief commercial officer at Kalamba Games, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Kai as our latest appointment. We’re expanding across the board internally at the moment and his experience and skills will prove valuable to ensuring our content delivery grows alongside our investment in the right people.

On his part, Mr Botha commented: “Kalamba is an exciting, growing brand and being able to contribute to its success and help take the company to the next level is a task I thoroughly look forward to.

“I relish solving business challenges using the technological, digital and strategic skills gained from years of experience in the industry and my new role is going to provide me with just that opportunity.”
