Malta-licenced Bragg Gaming has announced the appointment of Matej Filipancic to the newly established role of Global Sales Director, where he will be responsible for leading the company’s international sales operations.

Mr Filipancic will be based in Ljubljana Slovenia, and will oversee strategy and client engagement across Bragg’s aggregation platform, proprietary content, Player Account Management (PAM) system and Fuze engagement tools. His appointment takes effect immediately.

This is not Mr Filipancic’s first time at Bragg.

He previously served as Head of Turnkey Solutions for over five years, contributing to the development and rollout of the PAM platform in regulated markets such as the Netherlands.

More recently, he held senior commercial roles at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), which operates from Malta among other locations, serving as Regional Head of Sales and Business Development Director.

The appointment follows other recent senior hires at Bragg, including Scott Milford as EVP of Group Content and Luka Pataky as EVP of AI and Innovation.

Mr Filipancic’s role is seen as part of the company’s efforts to align commercial operations with its ongoing shift towards technology-driven solutions.

Commenting on his return, Mr Filipancic said he was looking forward to the challenge of leading Bragg’s sales strategy at what he described as an important time for the company.

Bragg’s Chief Commercial Officer, Neill Whyte, concluded:  “This appointment reinforces our commitment to expanding our reach and delivering superior value to our partners through our full-spectrum technology and content portfolio.”
