Serbia relax gaming

Relax Gaming, the iGaming aggregator and content supplier, has agreed a deal to supply operator group Meridian Gaming with its portfolio of tier-one games, making the provider’s titles available in the Serbian market for the first time.

The operator’s international customer-base will now be able to enjoy fan favourite titles such as Temple Tumble, Beast Mode and the blockbuster hit, Money Train 2.

As well as benefiting from Relax’s premium in-house catalogue Meridian will also gain access to content from Relax’s 50-plus hand-picked studio partners, made possible by its hugely successful Powered By Relax and Silver Bullet partnership programmes.

Marking the latest new market entrance for Relax in Serbia, the supplier and operator group expect to continue their expansion in the near future, with Meridian licensed across multiple European markets, including Malta jurisdictions, Belgium and the Balkans in Europe.

In total, Meridan offers its products and services to players across 15 jurisdictions and boasts a strong retail presence with upward of 1000 shops worldwide.

Commenting on the deal, Nadiya Attard, CCO at Relax Gaming, said: “We’re delighted to make our first appearance in the Serbian market with Meridian Gaming. The operator boasts an impressive reach across three continents and this deal gives us a real boost as we look to make a statement in this region.

“This is the ideal move to ensure we continue to drive differentiation on the global stage and we look forward to a long and positive relationship with Meridian so ensure we both accomplish that.”

Alexia Smilovic Ronde, chief regulatory officer at Relax Gaming, added: “Serbia is an emerging market with a stable regulatory framework and a rapid growth of its online gambling segment since 2019, which is promising for our future developments in the region.

“In short, this is an incredibly exciting move for both Relax and Meridian that we are confident will prove fruitful.”

Milan Djurmez, Head of Online Casino at Meridian Gaming, said: “Relax’s innovative slot offering brings immersive and engaging products to a wide range of players, and we’re delighted to say that will include our own customers as a result of this deal.

“We are extremely excited to see how our customers react to having all these new, ground-breaking titles at their fingertips.”

Relax now offers its partners more than 3,000 online casino games, featuring headline slots from its in-house studios along with a vast collection of content aggregated through its Silver Bullet and Powered By Relax partnership programmes.

Recognised by the industry as a true driver of differentiation, Relax Gaming has won a host of industry honours in recognition of its innovative approach.

The studio celebrated more than 15 major award wins last year, including “Casino Content Supplier” at the 2021 EGR Nordic Awards, as well as “Casino Software Supplier” and “Innovation in Mobile” at the EGR B2B 2021 Awards.
