Global betting and iGaming show SBC Summit Barcelona reported a record number of attendees for its 2022 edition. The event took place on 20th to 22nd September and brought together more than 6,000 sports, betting and gambling industry leaders who shared niche insights, knowledge and experiences about iGaming. It also gave the opportunity to attendees to build powerful connections and networking. It was SBC Group’s biggest event to date with 200 booths at the exhibition and 400 speakers.

The post-event survey is expected to deliver very positive feedback from nearly 93 per cent of delegates who said that they are likely to highly recommend SBC Summit Barcelona.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said that he is overwhelmed by the feedback adding that the SBC show “will only get better” in the future.

It was reported that during the event, the iGaming zone was the most visited (36 per cent of attendees) followed by the Sports Betting Zone (27 per cent of attendees). The interest shown in a new zone featuring emerging technology, blockchain and metaverse demonstrates the industry’s ongoing  interest in innovation.
