Mauro Miceli has joined GM Gaming Limited, a Gzira-based iGaming operator, as operations manager, he announced this week.

Taking to social media, he wrote: “Today I started a new experience with GM Gaming Limited. Looking forward to learning about a new sector and to reach the full potential for the company.”

Mr Miceli has worked in a wide range of roles across various industries, with a particular focus on EU stakeholder outreach programmes.

This has included a stint as project manager at the Planning and Priorities Coordination Division, which aims to ensure the efficient absorption and management of European assistance, both EU and bilateral.

Following that, he worked for a year as communications coordinator at Malta’s Ministry of Health before joining the Malta-EU Steering and Action Committee (MEUSAC), which is the Government entity responsible for collaborating and coordinating with local stakeholders on EU-related opportunities.

Mr Miceli then moved to the European Union Programmes Agency, where he remained between 2012 and 2018. After this, he joined Lidl Malta as purchasing manager.

Aside from these positions, he has also served as an elected representative on the local Swieqi council and is founder and Malta Football Association council member for Swieqi United Football Club.

GM Gaming is a successful casino operator that is the licensee for a number of prominent brands abroad.

Particularly notable, it is Betway’s brand licensee in Latin America, Portugal and France, offering its sports betting for both traditional and in-play events from around the world, including football, basketball, tennis and more. 

When jurisdictions allow online casino, the firm’s offering includes slots, live dealer, table games and other exciting elements from some of the leading game providers in the world.

GM Gaming also operates online casino brand Voglia De Vincere in Italy and online casino Thunderluck, which is powered by Micrograming software.
