Xtremepush, a leading provider of CRM and loyalty marketing powered by AI, has announced the appointment of Morten Tonnesen as chief growth officer.

An accomplished executive with over a decade of experience driving success at major gambling and technology companies, Tonnesen will lead growth initiatives across the entire organisation as Xtremepush cements its market leadership as a provider of next-gen solutions for the betting and gaming industries.

As CGO, Tonnesen will own responsibility for Xtremepush’s continued push to establish relationships with tier-one operators, partnerships, and marketing. In addition, his role will extend beyond those areas as he leads from the front on sales, product, and overall corporate strategy, leveraging his industry expertise and proven track record in scaling businesses.

Tonnesen is a seasoned executive with a proven track record in the online gambling and technology sectors. With over a decade of industry expertise, he comes from his latest venture Shape Games where as CCO and a major shareholder, he was part of driving the company’s success and subsequent exit to Kambi in 2022. Prior to that he co-founded and successfully exited sports betting operator BetWarrior, now a major operator in LatAm.

His entry into online gambling was with PokerStars where he rose to head up global marketing as the company grew to take up 75% market share, launching sports and casino in the lead-up to its sale and listing. Tonnesen’s addition follows a period of significant momentum for Xtremepush, including the recent opening of a Brazil-based office and partnerships with major operators across Latin America. His appointment demonstrates Xtremepush’s focus on scaling its organisation with top-tier leadership as demand accelerates for its innovative AI-powered platform.

Tommy Kearns, CEO of Xtremepush, said: “Morten is a heavyweight addition to our leadership team who brings invaluable perspective from both the operator and supplier sides of the gaming industry.

“His entrepreneurial mindset, data-driven approach, and demonstrated success growing companies make him the ideal person to guide our expansion as we capitalise on increasing demand for our innovative AI-powered platform. He is a great addition to the ambitious culture we have created at Xtremepush.”

Morten Tonnesen, CGO of Xtremepush, said: “Xtremepush has developed the best solution I have seen on the market for giving operators a sustainable competitive advantage by combining real-time data, AI, gamification and best-in-class CRM functionality into one unified platform.

“I’m thrilled to join such a talented, driven team who are so intent on achieving the business objectives of customers. I look forward to employing my extensive industry background to propel Xtremepush’s growth across all facets of the business during this exciting period.”
